The Hangover of Laughter Lasts Awhile

The Hangover is a movie that is clearly one of the best comedy movies ever. It was the funniest movie of the year and set the bar higher than any other comedy movie ever has. It received an 8 out of 10, a very high rating. It is directed by Todd Phillips and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. It is a comedy crime movie in the tradition of other hilarious comedy crime movies like Pulp Fiction, and it almost has that serious of a feel to it. It’s true that some guys just can’t handle Las Vegas, and this movie makes that really clear. As some guys try to act really cool and have a good time in Las Vegas, they wake up to realize that they had been drugged and later find out why. They are forever embroiled in a series of adventures that turn out to be the most dizzying series of misadventures in movie history.

The comedy quadruple group turn over a new leaf in humor with their stunning performances against the backdrop of a serious script and solid directing. Heather Graham even makes an appearance as a stripper. The whole crew is in for a series of surprises that they’ll never forget as they encounter a host of problems the day after as a result of their behavior the night before. The whole group eventually finds reconciliation, and they succeed in having a very fun time once they reach home.

Thankfully, the boys make it back from Vegas, and there is even a Hangover 2 in the works. The last time that actors this good got together was in Dumb & Dumber. The formidable results of a good cast and solid cast create a movie that is hard to forget and makes its way into several movie annals for the best movies ever made.

Many people rate this movie on their top 10 list of all time, and they find that the key to understanding it is realizing that these events could happen to anyone. The majority of people watching this are college students so they are very aware of the perilous effects of hangovers. The minority of people who see this movie will not find it funny because they’ve never had a hangover, but the majority will have found some ability to empathize with these people who have had a hangover.
